What is GDPR?
GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation – is the new EU regulation intending to combine and strengthen data protection within the EU. This regulation was introduced on the 27th of April 2016 and is due to come into effect 25th of May 2018. GDPR will replace the Data Protection Directive.
You have the right to not be subject to a decision that is based on automated processes unless Medical-Locums Group Limited have the individual’s explicit consent.
You have a right to withdraw your consent at any time. Medical-Locums Group Limited will remove all data relating to the individual within 14 days as set by General Data Protection Regulation.
As part of the NHS/Healthcare compliance standards Medical-Locums Group Limited will require specific data (this is detailed in our Medical-Locums Group Limited Handbook) to ensure (amongst other reasons) the individual is suitable for each temporary assignment they may carry out. This information may only be shared with necessary 3rd parties (Clients/Auditors/Professional Advisors) during verification and audit.
